you’ll have to join an open water course. The duration needed to earn a basic certification depends on the individual scuba school. for me, i had to attend a theory lesson, a pool session, and finally go on one real dive trip to earn the certification. it’s not a sure thing though the dive masters will assess you while in the sea and you’ll have to pass the theory test. relatively easy questions.

after all that, you’ll have the liscense to explore the other world! good luck (; !

many local dive shops give SCUBA lessons, take an introductory course and then figure out what you want to do from there. Personally, i like wreck diving and salvage diving. There are so many different diving disciplines you could master.

You have to get your Open Water Divers Certification, it should be (150-250$) look up any dive shop in your town and they will tell you where to go. You will learn everything you need to know in this class.

Once you have you certification you can rent equipment and dive anywhere in the world. I recomend Galapagos (best diving ever!)

There is a certification training, I don’t know where you live but you can google it or if you’re going to a beach where they offer those trainings and if you’re going to be there for a week you can get certified. I think that it takes three lessons to get the certification in Cancun.

    Do it, it is great.
