im an average swimmer but i can’t dive!! i always bend my knees, or make a belly flop. i only can dive off the edge of the swimming pool not on the block. This is causing me maybe 5 seconds of my time. any GOOD solutions on diving???










Diving problem are usually caused by fear so if you are afraid you need to find a way to deal with it. To get rid of belly flopping-tuck your head down more and squeeze your arms above your ears to make a tight streamline. Ask your coach to stay after practice by 5 minutes a day to help you with this. I am sure you will see improvement soon so don’t give up.
same with me. it goes arms (or head) then body then feet. just kind of push off the block the same way you would the side of the pool.
