About Us
Cressi diving first started manufacturing scuba gear in 1943. But it wasn’t until 1946 that brothers Nanni and Egidio Cressi formed the diving company in Italy that is now the oldest underwater diving equipment company.
Over the years Cressi helped revolutiionize the sport with a series of inventions. For example, the first Cressi mask was invented in the 1940s. The 1950s saw the introduction of the dedicated nose pocket. The 1970s marked a major step forward in Cressi diving fins.
Antonio Cressi continues to run the company with the same strict standards as his father and uncle. For example, all products are sea-tested before making their way to production.
Today, the company produces Cressi scuba diving equipment in its huge facility still located in Italy. With branches in France, Spain and the United States, it distributes its products to over 100 countries.
CressiDiving.com is dedicated to providing quality information on the subject of Cressi scuba gear and in particular, on the products masks, fins and tanks.
